For a pair of glasses priced in the mid-range segment, the overall quality is surprisingly poor. The plastic feels cheap and flimsy, while the hinges are so stiff that every time you open the temples, it feels like you're one step away from ending up with a handful of broken plastic parts.

But the frame isn't even the biggest problem. Glasses are, first and foremost, about the lenses — and these simply don't hold up to scrutiny. The distortion is severe, and the color reproduction is equally disappointing. After taking them off, eyes need a few minutes to readjust to normal light and colors.

To be fair, there is one major advantage: the design. They look absolutely fantastic. In fact, they look so good that for a brief moment you almost forget how poorly they perform as actual glasses.

So, if you're looking for a toy for a child to break within a couple of days, or a stylish accessory to wear on top of your head rather than on your nose, these are an excellent choice. If you're looking for glasses to actually see through, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
